COURSES - Mors Kochanski 5 Day Bushcraft

This will be one of the last few chances to train with the legendary Mors Kochanski, the grandfather of bushcraft, a man with an amazing amount of knowledge and even more energy!!! Although no one believes it, one day he will retire and stop teaching. Last year Mors ran his 5 day “Bushcraft with the emphasis on Modern Survival”, a truly amazing non-stop course. His book Northern Bushcraft has been the bible for many bushcraft instructors and outdoor enthusiasts around the world. Mors used to regularly travel the world teaching bushcraft and is huge in the UK.

    Last year, Mors covered on the 5 Day Course:

    1. The survival knife, and an in-depth lecture on sharpening to a razor edge
    2. Edible and useful plants
    3. The Super Shelter
    4. The Flip Flop Winch
    5. Making your own bow saw
    6. Making your own cordage
    7. Making your own rope
    8. Making netting for fishing or a hammock
    9. Making crafts from plants
    10. Making noise makers from the woods
    11. Fire
    12. Water
    13. Food, including the benefits of fasting in a survival situation
    14. Clothing
    15. Sleeping, including sleep deprivation
    16. Making crafts
    17. Improvisation for an emergency pack
    18. The Survival Scarf
    19. The try stick

Plus much more which was all hands-on training.

This course includes: food and accommodation in a dormitory-type setting, course material, group equipment and certificate. Individual accommodation is available at extra cost but is limited, so book early. If you decide to camp outdoors there is no extra cost.

Cost: $1100. A $250. deposit is required to hold your place which is refundable until 4 weeks before the course start. After this time it is not refundable. However, in the good spirit of bushcraft if we can fill your place we will refund your deposit in-full at anytime.
